Winkers for Honda 305 and others

Post by Kevmcp » Tue Apr 27, 2010 3:11 pm

So, folks. I am having my bike worked on by Charlie's Place in SF. I bought a rare right hand winker switch/starter. Since I am changing my throttle, the flange did not work (though both Charlie and I looked at the photo and said it was the right one until I decided to change the throttle). The front winkers I got from Thailand. They are the exact shape and look, though plastic, look fantastic.

The correct rear winker lenses can be had through Thailand as well, though you would have to build or find the bulb socket.

All you need to to do is to find a cheap signal relay.

Just to clarify

Folks, I have the winker switch on eBay as well. The price here on the Classified is what I under what I paid for it. I am simply looking to get close to the money I paid. If you are interested in making an offer, check out the ebay listing, and either
1. Join the auction
2. Buy it now for the price listed
3. Buy it now here for the same price as ebay, or make me an offer

By saying "first crack" I thought I would let everyone know here that I had just posted so you should check it out before it gets sold. Here is the link item number on ebay: 230467546308

Step #3 ("...or make me an offer") doesn't appear to work.

Wilf, I posted this piece of information because I have been around and around trying to figure the best way to put appropriate winkers on my Honda 350. I thought it would help as it took me a while to figure out how to do it right. It also took me a long time to find the correct switch, which hardly exist anywhere anymore. Since my mechanic is modifying another switch to work with a new throttle, I thought someone else could use it. The offer and our ensuing emails are between us, are not for the general public, so I would greatly appreciate it if you have any issues, deal with me directly.
