hi does aybody know the best way to get the stick on badges off my 58 dream tank with out breaking them.

Two things come to mind, one is to warm it with a heat gun. Take your time warm it just to where it is hot to touch then see if the badge will move a little. If it moves proceed if not moving, stop.
The second idea is to use 3M adhesive remover, this stuff work great!! Drip some to the back side of the badge and let it work. Keep it moist with the remover for half an hour and it should come off with no problem. NAPA sells the 3M adhesive remover for around $15 and it is great for pre paint prep, cleaning, and many other uses. 3M part number is 08984 for a quart can, dont use the spray.
