Question about metal replacement badges

Post by 3030vision » Sun Nov 19, 2006 4:42 am

I've been looking at some of these on eBay. I'm thinking about taking my plastic badges off (for safe keeping) and replacing them with the metal ones. Does anyone know if there are color options for the metal badges? I've seen a bunch of white winged ones on eBay and I saw a pair that looked like they had gold/yellowish wings, but the seller told me it was just a reflection of the background. If these are available in a gold/yellow color, I'd prefer those.

Also, if someone has a pair they're looking to get rid of, let me know. Thanks!

The metal badges are still available through Honda (#87121-230-010 msrp $20). Sorry, no gold but you could always brush plate them!

Thanks for posting them..they look good but for originality in judging, etc. the bike could lose some points...
Here's a side by side of what you showed vs. my original...

If I ever find a good set at a good price I will have them. But I ride mine its not for show so thease work for me. I have seen the plastic bages go for more then I paid for the bike.
Now if I wanted to show this bike you bet Id get them.
