As I get closer to completion on my 65 CA77 some of the small details are starting to come

I gave my decal guy some sketches of what I wanted-He came up with a couple of designs and
I picked the one I liked-I cut some 3 inch circles out of Plexiglass ( the outer one a bit thicker
than the inner )-I angled my drill press to a 45 degree angle and sanded the edges with a drum sander chucked in...a little fine sanding along the edges...stick the decal to the inside one and cover with the thicker one-very minimal clear silicone at the seam and there you go....
