Woohoo ! couldn't get it to go from the Ipad. couldn't email it to myself. girfriend took a pic of the ipad with her phone and emailed it to me. loaded that up from the laptop. more than one way to skin a cat.....

I appreciate all the comments and your efforts in testing the feature.

Looks to me like the current settings allow uploads to the forum and perform the automatic resizing - which is a critical function. I will turn my attention to other forum settings most of which are in the background.

...actually, reattaching the old photos is one of the background projects I will be working on.

I can't do it in bulk, but I can try post-by-post. Please send me several old posts where attachments have gone missing. I will test how to reconnect them.

I tried sending you a PM with references, but when I pushed submit, it asked me to log in again, and when I did the text was gone.....so here is one to try:

I believe he has since moved on, so if you need someone current who can intelligently discuss how the pics are uploaded etc., I'm sure G-Man would be able to. He has many great threads with pics which are now gone.

My knowledge of computers is limited and any success I have uploading is purely accidental!
