Racebike Only Thread.Racebike Only Thread.I'd like to make this thread the one and only stop for all pictures of CB,CL,CYB,CR, and custom framed race bikes based off of the 72/77 (250/305) engine. Cafe bikes, street trackers or other street bikes need not be posted unless they have some kind of racing history. The only exceptions FULL CYB kitted bikes. Please try and give credit to the photographer and/or site where you got the picture and any info/history you have about the bike when possible.

Ton Up Club-Florida AHRMA #500 Road Race #G50 Cross Country This article was in Motorcyclist Illustrated in about 1971/1972. The guy, Larry was wheelchair bound and did these amazing restorations. I wonder if he is still around. He was in California, I think.
Unfortunately, I clipped these out years ago and don't have the original article. G '60 C77 '60 C72 '62 C72 Dream '63 CL72

Not much activity on this thread. I thought that I'd share this picture with you. It's from this month's (Dec 2010) issue of Classic Bike and is part of a feature on a new book that's out by Keith Lee. The Book is Titled "Drag Bike Racing in Britain from the mid 60s to the Mid 80s" Published by Veloce Publishing at www.veloce.co.uk The bike, built by Mick hand, still holds the 250cc World 1/4 mile record (so I'm told) at 9.8 secs and in a 350 configuration ran at 9.02 secs. The motor is supercharged and more details can be found here. http://www.thefang.co.uk/parallel.htm Enjoy! G '60 C77 '60 C72 '62 C72 Dream '63 CL72

CYB77I am new to this site and am trying to upload some photographs - please bear with me.
I am trying to attach photographs of my CYB72 race kitted machine.
Re: CYB77No worries Gordon. Looking forward to seeing your setup. As a note, when you hit "post reply" the second section under the message body is for the file name. Click "Choose File" and select the file that is on your computer. Then hit "Add Attachment" to upload that file to the site. You can put a description of the file in the box to the left of that button. After that is done, just hit "Submit" at the bottom.
