When I put my signal light on they light up as they should,they just don't flash but I can hear the flasher makin a horrible noise. I have been taping it in an attempt to get it to work,but no luck.just woundering if this sounds like a bad connection or needin a new one.thanks for any advice. Rob

Why not clean all of the connections first, then take it from there; a new flasher isn't expensive or hard to find - any auto parts store has them.

Yes your right sea dog a good cleaning of the wiring may be all that's needed ,that's all I did for my lights to work

You might need to pull the can apart and clean the contact points on the inside.....
They look just like mini versions of the ignition points.

What a good idea, especially if it's an original Honda flasher and I suppose it might well be, since Robbie63 is from Canada.

I always try to save things if I can, but I just purchased a NOS one with bracket from a dealer in the UK that is clearing out some stuff.
