Hello, I'm new on this wonderfull forum.
Sorry for my bad English speaking, but I'm French.
I have just rebuilt this C77 in good condition.

Something look strange : there are 3 holes for the lights on the headlight of the motorcycle.
Have you ever seen this before?

Hello and welcome to the forum. The round headlight in your picture is a clever solution to the hard to find original. I can only guess that the extra holes were added by a previous owner, possibly as turn signal indicators.

I have never seen that, either in pictures nor wiring diagrams showing extra indicator lights. I would suspect retrofit but it looks like the added holes have locator notches to hold the indicators in position and that points to a more professional installation.

Are there unattached wires in the headlight bucket? Maybe you can trace the wires to figure out what was there.

Hi,

A simple file can make a perfetct locater.
No, not standard, the two extra holes made by PO's.

Don't know in the states, but here (Europe) many bikes were personalized in some way.

Indeed, you can see that the centre hole has a peg locator and the 'extra' two have slots.

Thank you for your answers.
I believe these holes appear to have been made in the factory and also the harness with 2 flashing bulbs.
Perhaps one of the latest versions produced?
I would like to find more photos of the same models to confirm this.

Hi,

I have a late C77, and saw many C77 and C72's, early and late versions.
What you could do instaed of believing, is looking for a parts manual.

I have part manuals nr 1, 2 3 and 4, and it's not in there...
Maybe you have to find parts manual nr.5.

Anyway, good luck
