Keyster Carb Kit Common Issues - Wrong Jets and Needle

Post by mcmig » Fri Jul 10, 2015 12:08 pm

My carb was fooling the plugs and not running on idle without Choke since it was rebuilt.

My issues was the Keyster Carb Kit, wrong Main Jet #130, Slow Jet # 40, and needle. However the Slow Jet holes were minuscule compared to the stock one.

Stock set up is Main Jet #120 Slow Jet #35

I've put back the old jets and needle and it works fine now.

I should've search about the Keyster kit on this site first, it would of save me a lot of time and troubles.

I just wanted to post a reminder of these issues with the Keyster Kit.

The Keyster kits for the CB77 carb can be used and works well with both CB77 and CL77. ............lm
