First Dream I've worked on in over 40 years.

Was looking through Craigslist and found a 1966 CA77 for $675. I couldn't resist taking a look at it. The owner said it had been setting for over ten years so I figured it would be in bad shape. When I got there we hooked a battery to it and it fired right up. Runs like a- well- like a Dream. No smoke, goes through the gears fine. Suspension seems to be fine mechanically. So I bought her home, another project that I'm going to enjoy! Tried to download a picture but no luck.

Those look to be original tires so must be low mileage. I'd say well bought from the looks of things.

Wowee! $675!

Way jealous. My basket case cost more than that. Throw some better mufflers and a set cover on that baby (oh yeah, tires too) and ride it!

Just curious, where in NC are you? As you can see I'm in Angier.
Sometimes I wish I'd bought a rider. I'm about $4 K into restoring my $230.00 basket case. But I did buy it as a long term project with no expectation that I'd ever get back what I put into it.
