What year CA77?

Post by tobysdad » Tue Jan 25, 2011 10:58 am

I'm new to the Dream world and I'm trying to figure out what year CA77 I have. There's not title with the bike and I have no idea where it might have been last registered. It's a beautiful black one and the headlight is not a sealed beam. Here are the numbers:

C78-1003837
C77E-1003887

Thanks!

Are you asking about the CA77 or the C77?

your frame is C78? or CA78?

or is that a typo and you mean C77 or CA77

my book for some reason doesnt have CA78 in it at all. :/

What part of California ya live?
Ya have a 1965 issue and the CA78 is a good number as it seems HONDA may have used it for the US exports.
The year of issue can be traced by the (E for engine) CA77E-xxxxxxx in the existing Bill Silver publications. .............lm

Not a typo. Frame says C78 (see photo) and engine says C77E. . Also attached is photo of the bike. I know that is not the correct seat. Thanks for the help!
