CA77 Oil

Post by malecarbonunit » Mon Jun 08, 2009 9:57 pm

Hey all,
I'm having the a hard time finding 10-30 motorcycle oil for my bike (CA77 1965). Would 10-40 mess my bike up if I used it? Also , how much oil does the bike need? Thanks

1.5 litres is whats stamped on the cases. Search oil on this site for lengthy discussion about types of oil to use. I run Honda GN4 10w40 in my 305s.

I use 30W Non Det oil I buy at NAPA cause that's what I used in the 60's and that was what HONDA recommended at that time.
