whitewalls again

Post by dreaming56 » Wed Dec 10, 2008 12:12 am

Hey guys, I would like to put whitewalls on my bike, the thin ones would be best. You tell me that they don't handle that well, I would like to know what every one that has them and rides on them thinks. I want to ride mine and still have it look original, maybe the paint on sidewall would be an option. Please let me know

the coker whites are fine, if you don't push it. they do really look great.

Thanks for the help bigscooter, now all I have to do is find a dealer that will sell me some. I'm sure they are out there. Do they have rear tire and a front tire or are they all the same tread?
Thanks Stan,

coker sells the wide whites, and i think nobody sells the thin stripe tires in that size. the original tires had different front and back tread patterns.

So that link to the Firestone white wall tire will fit on a CA77? does the year matter? I have a 65 and need those tires.

yes, that tire is correct for CA77.I have read on this site and others that they may not be the best quality.Read complaints on traction issues if you plan on riding alot.
