Those superbike handlebars look pretty cool. I might check them out. The site I saw that had them was sold out. Do you know where I can find them?

Thanks,
Bryan

I put some superbike bars on mine a few days ago. I found them at a local used parts shop but they're brand new. I've seen the exact same ones on ebay for about $20-30. Just search "7/8 handlebars" and you'll find some.

Does anyone know where I can get a slightly shorter brake cable? It bows out to the side a little more than I'd like. It just needs to be a few inches shorter than stock. My clutch cables seems to be ok. Also I'm looking for 1 or 2 speedo cables. Both my 66's have broken cables.

Here's a couple pics....

You could try either Western Hills Honda or RetroBikes.

Erich

I ordered some of the superbike bars from a local shop, but won't arrive for a few weeks (back ordered). Since you have them already I was wondering about the cables. You are happy with the fit of everything, except the brake cable? Is that right?

Also, what did you do about the throttle slot?

Thanks,

Bryan

I used the stock sliding throttle linkage. Luckily, I know a guy(me) with a machine shop :)

I've got a new shorter brake cable coming. A slightly shorter clutch cable would probably fit better too. I've got some extra slack tucked up inside the headlight bucket. Anyone know of a clutch cable that's about 4-6" shorter than stock?

I'll be needing new cables for my project. Let me know how the new one works out.

Thanks,

Bryan

heres picture of my bike with my drag bars. i forgot to take of picture of the bar before i put them on. these machined at a machine shop so i could use the exciting hardware. all the cables are stock as well. i do plan on getting shorter cables. but for now they work ok. I did have to bend the top end of the cable in order for them to fit right.
