I need a Dream!I need a Dream!I didn't see a forum specific for my topic so hopefully it's OK here:
In 1964 I visited a local shop that was selling a new type of motorcycle called the Honda Dream. Unlike the big scary, loud, smoky Harleys etc, this was amazing to me. I was 14 and had to have it. I spent the next 2 years looking and touching that bike. Time went on and I had responsibilities. The Dream had disappeared. Now, over 50 years later, I'm still looking for my Dream. It has to be a 305, preferably white in color, and should be in tip top condition. I'm looking for something that would "almost" win the prize at a bike show. (almost but maybe not quite). I've had a feeler out on Google for two years, but I can see that Google is missing a lot of Dreams for sale, so I thought I'd start here. Does anyone know of such a bike for sale? Thanks!
Located a white dreamHi wvsky,
While at a local Honda dealership asking about restoring my Dream, they said they had one in the basement. I asked if I could see it and behold it was a white one. Also looks in very good condition. Shiny white paint and shiny stock chrome parts. I think he said a 68 CA77. I was like a kid in a candy store with all the old bikes in various stages of condition. so I didn't think of all the right questions to ask. They even had a Superhawk which I have one to restore. Anyway. no price on the bike, it was just sitting there. But everything is for sale. You would have to talk with the owner "Jeff" or the service department manager "Wess". Honda of Redlands.
