Cannot find frame number on CA77

OK, am sure I am missing it but I can't see the frame number anywhere. It is, according to the manual, on the left hand side but I can't see it anywhere. It does not look to have been repainted so I don't think it is under a layer of paint.

It can be very difficult to find if you're thinking it should be up on the steering neck (that is where I had thought it was), but it isn't there ;^). The number on the frame is located on the left side of the frame BEHIND the rear crankcase bolt. You can also look for the rear brake stop light switch and it is under that.

If you zoom in on my pics, you can just about make out the numbers... CA in the one pic and a 1 in the other, but this will give you an idea of WHERE to look for them on the FRAME.

It's probably buried under grease like this one was.
