Hey Thanks a lot

Do you know how to check the condenser to make sure it is working properly? Or do you know the procedure for changing them out? I really don't wont to drop the engine.

Thanks again for you help

Oops, sorry for not paying attention to which model we're talking about. Yeah, CB77 tuning specs could kinda confuse the issue.
As far as you're condensor goes, I see alot of them get replaced needlessly. General rule of thumb is if you're getting good spark, don't bother. If you already have the bike in a state of partial disassembly, sure, it's good insurance to just to go ahead and do it, but most of my bikes are running fine with 30+ year old condensors.

I second Piecutters statement.I also have used the old cond. in the past and they seem to work fine.I would just check the spark and timing and valve tappetts.May also want to check timing chain tensioner while your at it.Did you go over the carb yet?
