Hard to get key in ignition

Post by mchech » Sat Oct 01, 2011 7:42 pm

Hey, all.

I've got a '64 CA72. Over the course of the last couple months, I've noticed it's been getting harder and harder to get my key into the ignition. It's a daily rider, so I'm guessing it's simply because of repeated use. But I don't want to risk snapping a key. Can anybody diagnose this? Common problem? Suggestions? Much appreciated. Thanks.

I've had this problem before. I use a graphite lube called lock ease. Keeps things moving well. Rusty

Rusty,

Thanks. Simple solution. I'll pick some up.
