Buco Bags

Well im almost done with my K2 CB750 build and i need to get back to my Dream.
I have acquired a set of Buco Bags for it, but they have been spray painted a nasty cheap white color. The finish is also kind of like a non gel coated or rough finish, was that normal?
Im wondering if i just paint them a nice Black to match the bike and use a good clear like Spray Max 2k if it will look ok?
Any opinions for color (white or black)?

Below are some pics, I know ill need to blast the bracket and repaint as well, im thinking i might get the bracket powder coated.

Any suggestions or comments welcomed.

Buco made three types of finishes. Gloss white,gloss black and natural white,which is the semi-rough finish.You could see the fiberglass strands in them.That may the kind you have.

yes thats what i have, thanks for the info. Would the natural white be a flat and not a gloss?

Yes,the surface is semi-rough. They didn't have the smooth gel coat.

Here is a picture of my wifes bike with the bags painted black to match the bike.
I also have a set of the natural non painted bags that will probably end up on my red dream the one next to the black one.

Normally i wouldnt be a fan of the Buco bags, but they look rad in the case... I like it man! Nice!

I think ill go with the flat white as well, since mine are the rough surface. cant wait to get that done and hook up the lights.
