wiring of coil

Post by forrestlanding » Thu Sep 14, 2006 3:29 pm

Could someone remind me on how the wiring of a coil? Does the green wire connect to positive side of coil and black wire on the negative side? Or is it the reverse order? Also, my ca77 has two wires on the ground side of the battery, does both of the wires connect to the grounding on the frame? As you can see, I'm not much on wiring, I just love to ride!!! Not only blowing my mind, but, I'm keeping Autozone 15 amp fuse business alive!!!

Forrest, Green is neg. side of coil and black is Batt. or pos. side. Not sure about your bike on the neg. battery cable should be just one (according to the diagram) But if I had two I'd connect one to the frame and one to the engine. Hope that helps with the fuses! Steve Greer
