installing a new chain on 66 honda dream ca77

Post by LTthisFire » Tue Apr 28, 2009 8:40 pm

hey guys!

Kind of at my wits end here, i could really use some advice!

Was riding the other day and my masterlink came undone and the chain came completely off of my dream. I got my hands on a brand new chain for my dream, but cant figure out how the hell to get it on. I even had my two bike savvy friends help out and with no luck... How the heck do i get this new chain on? I took the chain guard off and have been trying to fish it thru for hours...

Thanks!

i dont see that fixing the problem though, the problem im having is getting it to feed around and getting it under the sprocket thats deep inside there...

Also, do i have to take my muffler off to get that bottom part off? I can only find one bolt and the muffler is flush against it...

Thanks!
