American Restoration

Post by geosar » Tue Aug 30, 2011 10:59 pm

American Restoration, a show on the History channel has a new show this Friday night. One of the listed restorations is a "1967 Honda Scrambler". The episode is titled "suds and Duds".

I wil report on the show later but it should be fun.

I have my DVR set. It is a pretty entertaining show in general. They restore some neat junk.

They're on my DVR as well. It will be interesting to see what if any parts they get wrong!

No doubt! I really enjoy watching the show, especially some of the knuckleheads that work there.

Looked at the show last nite. Didn't recognize a 67' scrambler. But then the guy said he paid $1900 for it new and it was a 67' so it couldn't have been a leftover and must have been the super rare limited edition with steel sliders and small brakes. Anyway $6800 was probably a fair price for a professional to do a total resto on his bike for the condition it was in. I saw a few things that weren't right when complete and a few that were a bit suspect. What did Ya'll see? The customer sure looked happy.
