Gear lever bent

I have a bent gear lever which doesn't clear the oil filter cover, could someone measure a known good one as I have shown in the picture please, the red line, to help me when I straighten mine out. The camera has given a slight distortion but the aluminium bar the gear lever is clamped to is perfectly straight.

I doubt that there exists anywhere a "known good one". they have all been bent. I think they could have been bent just sitting in the showroom new.

Point taken Randy, that was my reason for not saying OEM but one which has been fitted/used on a bike successfully "known good one"

So many did get bent so I use a mallet to hammer the part to more flat.
I use a propane hand torch to heat the part so it will shape to the angle you want by using a hammer/mallet to change that arc (look at what ya have and go from there) .
I don't recommend you TRY NOT USE HEAT. ............lm

Thanks Ed, yes I was going to use heat but more than you have suggested, I was thinking more of a dull red with an acetylene torch, maybe I should try the propane first.

The measurement I get with my pictured setup is 10mm, a rough calculation with straight bars on the engine suggests 25+mm
