Post by maxdog » Wed Apr 22, 2015 12:54 pm

Hello
Does anyone have a sense of the total production numbers for the CL72 and CL77 Scramblers?

Thanks

Bill Silver lists the frame and motor IDs in his restoration guide. According to the ID numbers, somewhere between 100,000 and 110,000 were made over the 6-year production span. Other reports indicate much lower numbers.........a few hundred in '62; 2-4,000 for '63 & '64; 7-8,000 in '65; 10,000+ in '66 and '67.
