CL72 Ignition switch

Post by malcolmgb » Sat Jun 07, 2014 3:21 pm

I recently bought an ignition switch for my CL72 I now find there are 2 types and mine is wrong for the frame, I have posted pictures. I now also need to check the right side cover and locking ring I have. Can someone give me an idea of the hole sizes of these various parts I require, photos of the switch would also be useful as a guide. Needless to say if anyone has a switch to sell I may be interested.

Malcolm

The early type had a threaded body without the extra piece with the two screw holes. I have both types so will get you some measurements tomorrow.

Locking ring and sidecover hole are both smaller.

Thanks Graham, if I have the later cover it will be a larger hole and should still fit then.
