Im learnin more and more every day and lookin forward to someday fully restoring..but for now..im gonna make her a rider;)
List of what i conquered in a week was new Dunlop K70's, new bars, (thanx Fred;), carb rebuild, new air filters/intake tubes, plugs, spark plug wires, points, caps, had a key made:), new battery, cleaned/flushed tank..then also had to clean out oil pump/strainer then fill and soak bottom end in sum kerosene, drain/refilled/ran it thru and it FINALLY shifted thru all the gears..adjusted float levels in carbs and she roared to life:) had a blast...mission accomplished! I was just happy to get her running and ride her after she had been sitting since 1979! So it made the trip worthwhile! Cant wait to get her out here in august..my brother's gonna drive out and bring it with..im patient..i been waiting since 1993 when i sold my 67:( ahhh dumbass youth! Haha
