Help restoring cl77

Post by interpon » Mon Oct 13, 2008 5:00 pm

Hi,
Any help woud be great-
1966 cl77 Scrambler
Almost restored but have a few issues and looking for advice.
The book does not show the correct routing on many things..

#1- where does the clutch cable run, over the head (touching) between the carbs etc..??
#2- I am having issues with the throttle cable as it sticks open on one carb and I polished them but it seems like a cable issue (got a new one still no go), feels gravelly so Imay have to look at the point where 1 becomes 2. Also where is this ran as I cannot see from diagrams. does it loop down thru the tree and stay on the same side? where does it split, between the coils??
#3- does anyone know where to get a brake light switch? I tried ebay but they are all the ones with a hole and spring, I need a plunge off extend (sprung) on with no external spring.
#4- where do the vents run from the head? to the nipples on the bottom of the carb?

Thanks- any pics would be great..
