Traded a VW Vanagon for a '67 CL77Traded a VW Vanagon for a '67 CL77Hello, First, love the site...and I just finished making a deal trading a '80 VW Vanagon for a really nice '67 CL77. I will be heading down to his house this Saturday to make the deal finial and ride the bike home. I know nothing about these old girls but am looking forward to getting to know her.
From what the current owner has told me, there are some things that had been changed long ago. The front fender has been bob'd, the rear fender is not chrome and the the tank has been filled so there are no knee pads. But she is in realy nice shape and runs great. Here are a couple of pix...
