Thanks for the tips. I've done the method where you drop the air cleaners and sync, but can be a PITA when everything is on. Found dropping the bowls to work pretty nicely.

I THINK it is about where I need it to be now. The new throttle cable was not synched.

I would have definitely considered some mufflers if I were to keep it. Unfortunately, two years on two student's paychecks ($0) always forces me to sell nice things (except my wife). Wife will start working soon -- so with any luck I will get to keep either the CL77 or Cl72 I have in the waiting for frame off restores.

For the money, I think the bike is a good deal. I put a no-reserve and started at $5. Chrome isn't so good, but it's nice to be able to buy a bike and ride. So often, these bikes don't have titles (or titleholder is deceased as in the case on two of my bikes). I never ride an older bike that's sat for years without changing/greasing bearings, cables, air filters, cleaning carbs and petcock and gas tank, chain, sprockets, adjusting tappets, points, etc. Think mechanically it should be pretty sound, which IMHO makes it a decent start that I hope bidders value.
