oh..and my fuel petcock is bad..one of the fuel leads off of it is broken! and PO tried to "weld" that too..anybody know where i can find one? or keep lookin on ebay?..leaks like crazy..

That's where they usually crack from vibration. You might try welding a steel washer on the back, filling and grinding down the front for a repair. Won't be seen and will certainly reinforce the tab. JMHO
