Thanks for the warm welcome guys, I am sure this site will be of great help during the rebirth of this motorcycle. I had to take the side cover off yesterday to "free up" the clutch; no damage just plates sticking a little from the 36 years of sitting. Received the new battery and tires and expect to start it on Saturday and possibly ride it in the driveway then....I will let y'all know.
LM - In addition to my word, I can do better than just copy the numbers from the bike as it now sits, I can provide the original receipt showing the numbers. I am not too good with the attachment stuff, so apologies for the size of the scanned receipt. I do assure everyone that except for the 11 mo and 27 days I spent in Vietnam, the bike has been in my immediate area and no one except me has ever worked on it, so it is as "created" back in the day. However, in defense of others, my bike was purchased in April of '67 and shortly thereafter, the new CL350's came out, so the factory may have been clearing out inventory.
Oops, I see the price was $675 instead of $695 as I said originally, I guess my memory is now suspect :)

My previous statement was/is meant to inform those on the forum that the difference in numbers can/will be greater than stated by some for many years.
Thanks for sharing the sales receipt. Ah the Good Ole Days!. ........lm
