Noob, just getting started on a 67 CL77

I use a large cressent wrench on the large stuff. And an old rusty one at that.
I just got my 67 back on the road yesterday and put 25 miles on it. Sure is a good feeling to break something like this down to the last roller bearing, build it back up and have it start and run on the second kick. One of the most rewarding feelings ever. Both look good, a lot of money for shipping on choice #2. You might get him to ship you just the case (s) , and save a good bit of money.

I literally got to a computer 30 secs after it ended. Hmmm. I sent him a question. Maybe he'll list it with a buy it now just for the cases.

The lower case I was thinking of wasn't in that good of shape. Someone stuffed a chain into the final drive cavity and broke out the case flange below the sprocket.
I do have a cl72 lower I'd part with for the cost of shipping, so calling all experts----------- can it be used on this guy's upper????? It does have the mounts for the chain tentioner. Rw

Really?!! I never would have guessed that their processes were that precised that two mismatched cases would to together without a hitch. That's good to know. Hope I never need to use that knowledge on my own bike, though.

The guy that listed the cases that I missed is sending me the lower half for $10. Seems more then fair. It's the right case without any doubt. But thanks RW. Had I checked my thread first... Oh well.

I figured while I had the time and I'm waiting for engine parts, I'd take the bike down to the frame and get it ready for paint and chrome.

I'm stuck on the swing arm, I've searched and didn't see any instuctions on how to remove it.

Any help on this? First time on this build that I feel stuck. I feel like I'm missing something obvious.
