Baffle hole position

Good Advice, Ed.................I use blue thread-lock and fiber-washers from heat-shield fasteners against the pipe to 'save' the baffles and the new chrome.

That baffle style is usually recessed from the end of the pipe but I don't think the holes were drilled to a precise location.........other than at 3-o'clock.

Like HONDA they were pretty much the same every part.
1962/1963 blue thread lock?????????????. ...............lm

Here are some pics of a used baffle I picked up recently.

The screw is M5 and about 1/4 inch from the end of the baffle. Position on the pipe depends how far in you want the baffle to fit but I do have a NOS pipe to measure if that helps.
