Those new aquisitions

Post by MoonDream » Sun Feb 03, 2008 10:54 am

Well the bikes were delivered yesterday and are of course rougher than expected..the Dream seems to have a slipping clutch but my hope is it will run OK when overhauled..has a cracked right rear fender with bolts to hold the crack..i have an extra frame coming with the one from Texas so may have to change that as the fender is intregal to the frame..then the title will have to be redone. Now the biggee is what really is this other bike? I posted pictures on the last question and guesses would be welcome. Husband still decideing at first appraisel whether to try to retore or part out..I'd like him to restore it but we have gathered a lot of projects here..opinions appreciated.

If you have a rear fender to replace and maintain the registration of the bike you will find an area under the seat where the fender was tac welded. Patience and you can remove a good one from another bike and install it on the one ya want to keep. ....................lm
