clutch cover screw?

Post by eddy7 » Sun Oct 15, 2017 9:42 am

Rt. side engine cover has a large common head cover just below the clutch cable which i'am tring to disconnect. Question is while i'am awaiting my shop manual , is does it thread off or pry off? and whats the bolt along side it for. i loosed it up to much and heard something drop inside which i can recover once the cover is off but it would hlep to know what it does. any help would be great.

Take the cover off and all will be revealed. That big slotted part is the clutch adjuster and comes out from the inside. Don't try to prise it off or unscrew it. That won't work.
