12V 3w small light bulb that illuminates the speedo face

The small, Stanley 12V light bulb that fits below the speedo and lights it up
on our CL72 has died.

Any idea where we can find a replacement please?

We see lots of small 6V bulbs for sale ..... but are having difficulty finding
a 12V?

Success ....

Affordable, NOS and still in the Honda package .... small light bulb that
illuminates the speedometer from inside the headlight cowl.

Our two closest Honda dealers here didn't have CL72 12V instrument
bulbs. Plenty of similar 6V bulbs but no correct 12V bulbs for the CL72.

Luckily, 10 were available from a seller on Ebay - 292015355089.

Ordered 4 original Honda bulbs from the Ebay seller five days ago. They
arrived today via USPS, in a small box, each bulb individual packaged in unopened
Honda factory sealed bubble wrap with the correct 12V Honda part number on
each package.

All in NOS perfect shape for $9 complete, delivered.

We were pleased with the service from the
fellow on Ebay with the correct 12V CL72 bulbs.

You found the same thing we did in that local
Honda dealers had plenty of 6V instrument light
bulbs .... but no 12V ones for some reason.

I remember getting these bulbs at the gas station. If think they are Industrial Bulb #1895 and still widely available although you might have to go to an automotive parts supplier to get them.
