Done for now

Post by sixtiescycle » Mon Mar 28, 2016 6:44 pm

Bought this '63 a couple years ago and slowly worked at correcting much of it. Seat, chainguard, front fender, wiring harness, clutch, oil leaks and numerous other things. Will be taking it to the Portland Swapmeet this weekend in search of a new owner to take it to the next level. If it doesn't sell I may have to take it to that level :-) I rode it for the first time today and it runs out very well.

Been checking ebay sales the last couple months as kind of a guide and I think roughly north of 2K should work.

In this CL listing, I sold the red framed bike 2yrs ago for $700 (was asking $600!) '65 CL77 w/CL72 engine, non running, no compression, no title. Bike was assembled out of parts laying around. This buyer later sold it as purchased for $900. http://portland.craigslist.org/search/m ... =honda+305

I bought this bike from the guy you sold it to. It runs good and is in good overall condition.
I look forward to repainting, polishing and getting looking great.
