1965 CL77 305

Post by PasadenaDave305 » Tue Mar 19, 2013 11:32 am

Hello all. I just recently picked up a 65 Scrambler with matching #'s. The bike is almost 100%. So far I see the speedo cable missing, the tank was painted and the knee guards are missing, and missing the chain guard. Im looking for someone that knows this bike to a tee to do a full restoration on it keeping everything as original as possible. Im located in Riverside county but will get the bike to where it needs to go. Thanks!

What do you mean by matching #'s? Because if you say the engine number matches the frame number, I don't think that is possible from what I have read.

You have a bevy of people on this site that know a lot about this bike. I am currently working on mine as we talk.

Not literally. Less than 200 between engine and frame.

It's certainly possible to have matching numbers. If they do match, however, it's just by chance. My numbers are only one digit off but I realize that most are further off than that.

Post a pic and then we can all see what we would be working with.
