How Many Miles Before Overhaul?

I have a '66 CL77 with 16K miles. I know there are many variables to the following question so an answer based on your past experience is all I am asking for. How many miles can I expect to get before a major overhaul on the engine/transmission? Thanks in advance.

Just kidding. I have been told that these 305's start getting a little tired in the rings at right about your mileage but have no first hand experience.
