cl72 to cl77 conversion

Post by bsa lover » Sat Jul 23, 2011 2:17 am

pulled the engine apart and discovered that some meat head in the bikes life gouged out a chunk of the combustion camber, so I did a search but couldn't find my answer, will the 305 head and barrels fit on the 250 case with out machine work, my barrels also have a fresh bore but the same meat head left the plug loose and one side has pits so I have to rebore any way, all the 250 heads are about double the price of the 305, the worst thing to happen to this bike isn't the fifty years of age, but the last guy that worked on it,
