Chainguard

Post by jsmith1107 » Thu Apr 01, 2010 9:51 am

Gordon,
To be honest, I am not even sure what the value of it is. I would have to do some research but I am willing to let it go since it is not what I need on my 66 if I want to get it back to original. Have you seen values of these? It is pretty mint---it basically looks like it is in primer and has no breaks whatsoever.

Let me know. You can email me at jeff.smith@chsinc.com

Thanks,
Jeff

Post by cbxmountainman » Mon Apr 05, 2010 1:00 pm

I have a perfect (except for paint) 1966 and later Chain Guard I'll swap you even up for so I can put it on my 1965. No cracks/welds etc, just need repainting. Black in color, my '65 is red. Let me know. Thanks, Charlie................cbxman@nc.net. I'll be back home on Thursday as out of town right now.

Do you have a picture I can look at? I have a picture posted of JUST the chainguard on another post here called "Chainguard" quite appropriately.

Jeff
