New guy, You didn't expect an answer to that question did you? You haven't sent a dollar to all the existing members yet! Or post a picture of your wife/girlfriend yet!
I guess you can get a break today if you promise to post that picture, and send money. First: the 300 logo simply means the bike has a 305 engine, and speaking of engines the E in the engine serial number stands for engine. Look at the steering head and you will see the chassis number,It will be close in numbers to the engine # but doesn't have the E in it. Good Luck with the project, and welcome to the 305 forum! Thanks for the response, Steve. I have been doing lots of parts hunting......and, in retrospect, should have done more research prior to posting. My tank badge says 300....so I thought it was a variation on the 305. I hope to get it back on the street this spring. I have a parts/shop manual on the way. Can't wait to dig in. I will try to post some pics soon. Thanks, again, for the response. Regards. PS I fly over Goshen all the time. (There is a ground based navigation aid station VOR) there) I'll honk the horn next time!

Very good! The manual will be a big help. As you fly over, you arn't the one dumping the toilets are you? Steve

Not in the past. I'll be sure to look for that button next trip. Thanks, again. ~Chris
