DRF vin numbers? Superhawk????? What is this?

Hi Guys,
I'm stumped on this one. I just picked up a Superhawk, or atleast what looks like one. It has the strangest vin and engine numbers. They are exactly matching and say, DRF-105791 both on the frame and engine. What is this? It is clearly a Superhawk, but doesn't say CB77 anywhere. Any ideas?

The plot thickens......I just realized it is wired for turn signals and has extra tabs on the frame and headlight ears as well as a Left/Right switch on the right side handle bar. And guess what, the speedo is in Kilometers!! The barrel is stamped "305cc" What the heck is this?
Any ideas?

It doesn't look like a factory numbering job on the engine. All the Honda engines I've seen had that knurled look in the background of the square with the numbers stamped in it so it would be hard to change numbers. On this the background looks smooth. The number on the steering head looks factory, but the DRF looks a little close to the number. I would guess that the bike was sold to an organization- like the post office, who changed the VIN to DRF for some reason.
