Hey, everyone!

Sorry for the absence. I've been BURIED at work. Our management has been content to let three pilots at this base do the work of four, which means lots of extra shifts, and very little time off (our shifts are 14 hours), hence very little time has been spent with my 305. I hate to start a project and then not have the time to see it through in a reasonable fashion.

On top of that, save for the last couple of weeks, the weather has been wet, not the kind of weather my Old Girl needs to be outside in.

I've just spent some quality time reading over threads I needed to catch up on. There is a lot going on! It was wonderful to read about the progress you've all been making!

I still need to replace the clutch in the Old Girl, plus pull off the front wheel to inspect the speedo drive and try to decide where an odd noise is coming from. I'll get to them at some point!

My NT650's battery sulfated and shorted, so I have to replace that, as well. Always something!!

And, finally, the road bike race season is underway here in California. I'm lacking fitness due to weight loss and illness (neither serious), but I'm looking forward to racing my bicycle(s) just the same. Much of the little time I have away from work has been spent training, or trying to train!

So, yes, I still live, and breathe, and I miss you all!!

Hi Sara

It's great to have you back and so sorry to hear about being overworked etc. My friend was in California recently and I couldn't believe it when he said there was heavy rain. At least the plants will breathe a sigh of relief.

My time with my bikes is limited too, but it makes for a greater therapy when the opportunity does come along.

I've had some short but high quality workshop periods in the past month so it spurs me on a little.

Aways good to read your posts and looking forward to your next project.... :-)

Hi Graham!

Yes, it's been raining!! The last three weeks have been dry, but it's forecast to start again this coming weekend, which is lovely, because I have a two day bike race :P

I've been reading through your thread, picking up where I left off, and....you do such marvelous work! You certainly have had some high quality sessions!

I promise I'll be here more often. Promise!!

Miss you!
