Hi Guys, i'm new here - i am finalising the restauration on a CB 77 '66 model, but even after several tests i can't get any response from the startermotor when i push the starter button. I just hear the starter breaker making a rather loud "clack" . So i have replaced with another.. same result . Also when i turn the combination switch i hear this sound.. So i must have done something wrong , but i can't figure it out !
anybody any suggestions ? I've checked the electric wiring diagram several times..but i'm starting to get desperate..
thx for your help/suggestions/tips

honda cb 77 starter problems..Make sure the battery is up to scratch fully charged, do check the earth leads to frame (no paint under lead on frame) I highly recommend this type of battery this is just one place you can purchase it from http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Motobatt-Batt ... SwHnFV1fay
Most but not all starting problems in my view are the battery is just not up to turning the engine. honda cb 77 starter problems..thank you for this info - i'll check the battery and if necessairy i follow your tip on the battery you've recommended. The startermotor has been rebuild and is brandnew, so i don't think he is the problem.. will also check al earthconnections to the frame again.
i will keep you posted on my progess.. grts rudy
