Hi dreamsuperhawk, judging from your previous experience with engine rebuilds, you will have no problems building a CB72/77 engine. Have fun with it, and remember, there is always help available from the guys and gals on this forum.
Brian.

Thanks LM and HB

That's awesome, thanks. I will try to post some pics soon. Have to set up flikr account first I guess. On those other engine rebuilds, I had machine shops do the milling. I just did tear down and assembly. So the motor has the head and cylinders removed by the PO. Whats missing right now is the rocker arm cover. The motor has been sitting in the PO basement for years and I'm sure will need a thorough going over now. Before I do any work I want to get some manuals and parts books. Then after taking a few deep breaths, get into it. So here's one question. If I get in over my head, I hope all will not be lost. I assume I might be able to find someone within reasonable distance to inspect, possibly repair and rebuild the motor/transmission???

But for now I don't know what to do first. What might be a list of priorities I should consider before doing anything. Thanks in advance for your input.

I've got another chain of conversation going on in the Dream forum too.
