1964 CYB Exhaust Pipe

Hi everyone, new to the forum but have have been browsing it for a long time! Great info and has helped me immensely.

So over a year ago, I picked up a 64 Superhawk with all the CYB components attached and lots of extras. CYB rear sets, that awesome racing seat, bars, steering damper, grips, rear fender, etc.. but the only thing I am missing is the CYB exhaust pipe. Any clue to an aftermarket that is the same or very close? Or an original would be even better.

Welcome to the forum. Do you mean the header pipes with the different bend (no clearenace for starter) or the upswept pipes similar to CL pipes?

I have the rear bracket for the upswept pipes, and I have seen the headers with the special protective covers.

OK - I understand. Yes the magaphones are out there but very expensive. A set of Dunstall-style mufflers with the baffles out would be a close cosmetic alternative.

I will be building a similar bike next year. I have pretty much all the parts except for the rear numberplate bracket which I will make. I have a CYB cam, genuine DID alloy rims and am slowly assembling a CYB transmission.

Here is one of the most complete CYB bikes out there. See the tightly bent header pipes with the 'protectors' attached.
