Intro and Pics

just picked up this little monster the other day.

.1964 CB77 been sitting in a garage for 23 years.cleaned up the fuel system and points dropped in a battery, and terrorized the neighborhood! Runs strong but sounds like a diesel powered eggbeater,and theres some sort of voodoo required to find 4th gear! And the best part is it was absolutly FREE! I am right now planning on restoring the mechanicals and leaving the rest with it's hard earned patina!

i hope that the day comes you decide to fix it cosmetically as well, sucks to see such a beautiful machine hidden under layers of pitted chrome and rust.

That day will come it's just a matter of time and money, I lack both at the moment! One question I have about the bike is that the swing arm,side covers,fork covers,and chain guard are chromed, was this the case factory? I don't recall seeing them chromed on other bikes. And one more thing on the few short runs Ive dared make on the dry rotted tires ths machine garners a great deal of interest from all walks of life in it's current sad state!

Actually Gun you can hav'em, when that day comes! they Don't look as good in person as they do in the pics, in fact the other side looks like some sort of plastic wart and one can only assume it is also on backwards! Altogether the pic does'nt do justice to the retinal damage this thing causes in person.
