Broken valve spring maybe? Also be sure to plug the bullet holes too.

Rev,

Not sure how that relates to the electrical misfiring in my plug wires. I diagnosed my problem with a xenon timing light attached to the left plug wire. I don't think it's the wire itself because they have maybe 2 miles on them and are a year old. Can you elaborate? Thanks.

Bullet holes meaning electrical connectors?

Let me apologize now for not understanding some terms. I haven't been around motorcycles for very long and my mechanic language is limited to shop manuals and such.

After you pulled out your gun and shot the bike, you might want to plug up the holes in the engine that the bullets made.......

Yes, the bullet holes are referring to when you pulled out your gun and shot the bike. LOL. As far as the valve spring, I was just thinking outside the box and looking for a non electrical cause for your misfire being that you seem to have eliminated the ignition components and carburetion.

Haha,

I was totally lost, and forgot about what I typed; didn't think anyone would catch that.
