I'm really at a loss-- which tires are recommended?

I've been looking into tires too. I really like these Cheng Shin Barracuda's from JC Whitney. A stickier more modern design....

Problem is the smallest front listed is a 3.00X18 (aka 90/90-18) and the smallest rear listed is a 3.25X18 (aka 100/90-18) Are those too big?

They also have these older style tires in the stock sizes
rib tread front...

rear (style 3)

Another front. a little more modern than the rib tread, like a '70s type...

Looks like the older types come in the exact sizes, but I like the first ones, the 'cudas the best. Has anyone run a 3.00X18 front or a 3.25X18 rear?
Happy motoring...brother scum

Scum, The Chen Shing Tires from J.C. Whitney you mentioned are what I bought for my cb77 cafe racer project(90/90-18 and 100/90-18) they sure look like they will work. I have them mounted and waiting to go on the bike. The only difference I can see is they are wider but only a bit. Steve Greer
